I recently visited Curry Leaves in Aloha Marbella for my mother’s birthday. We were a dinner party of 4 and all generally small eaters so we don’t normally go for starters. On this occasion we decided to get a 2 portions of samosa (meat and vegetable) which normally come 3 to a portion but the waiter sorted out an extra one on each plate for us to have one of each. To follow we then had 2 rice and a pashwari naan bread along with the mains of a Lamb Saag which was a different class to what I had tried before. Lamb Nihari which was my choice is now one of my favorites. Served as a shank and perfectly braised, on this occasion the shank was slightly small so a few more large chunks of lamb were in the gravy. The other 2 dishes I didn’t get to try, nothing was left so I take that as a good sign. Overall a good night out and my mum enjoyed it.
A great curry house with friendly staff and very reasonably priced.
